Really glad you enjoyed the family stuff, since this is probably the only time we'll get to see the Humes in person. I had to make it count! I had to make my hatred for them palpable. O___O
I'm actually quite pleased that you know Ratigan well enough to know that the jewelry murders were not his style. ;) Poor Basil, he's only just starting out and doesn't know better yet. Well, I guess it won't be long before he knows Ratigan too well, so I suppose he should cherish his ignorance while it lasts. 9_9
lol, you're right, that is the most Disney moment in the series so far! I can just see him all fluffy and bedraggled, shaking off the snow so that it flies everywhere. For maximum Disney effect, it splatters on some older boring constables who tut with disapproval. XD
HEE. I KNEW you would catch that detail. Your prompt, your rules. :3 I wasn't able to fit much Ratigan in there, but he already got his turn in Smoke and Mirrors. He was quite annoyed when he realized he was barely in this story!
I'm thrilled that people are reacting so positively to that last station house scene! I can see it SO clearly, and I love it so much. Basil is such a force of nature in the movie--- I can definitely see him raising hell like this.
