Basil can only learn about something through experimentation, and that includes this whole messy situation with Ratigan. He keeps putting himself in these compromising positions just to test himself, and I fear that one these days, he's going to push himself (or worse, Ratigan) too far. *genuinely worried for him, lol*
Is it a bad thing that I got ridiculously excited at the idea of Ratigan having a super long tongue? The possibilities are endless...! XD
I feel like a hallmark of this series is having both Basil and Ratigan realize that they're not as shameless/strong/sophisticated as they had previously believed themselves to be. I may have left this remark in another comment, but it bears repeating: my favorite thing about this pairing is that they simultaneously bring out the best and the worst in each other. :D
I just want to grab the both of them and squish them FOREVER. ^_^
Thank YOU for another wonderful comment! You always put a big smile on my face! <333

I also want to mention that I enjoyed their first dance as much as I enjoyed the kiss. I really didn't want it to end. It was a wonderful way for Ratigan to show his hand, very romantic. Basil must feel at least a little bit flattered.

Also, I'm sure Basil will start to feel a little bit flattered--- once he gets over his usual bout of sulking and indignation. XD
