November 14th!
Well, that's over then. After six weeks of intensive work, with the exception of one more day this week and two days in three weeks time, I am back to being unemployed again.
I have to say, it's lifted my spirits somwewhat. Kept me busy. Sitting here at this computer all day really hasn't helped my health at all, but I can look after that a little more from here on in.
The big thing that's been obsessing me the last week or so is me deciding I wanted to buy something with all my hard eaned cash. It's been two months of an absoulute hellish schedule, not being able to do anything from 8am to 11pm all day every day for weeks. I have been thinking about my reward.
And I have decided that the reward is going to be.. a new TV. a HD-TV. Big enoug hto finally enjoy Dr Who on the big screen in colour. It's taken a few weeks to decide what type/ brand and find a good price. But, I think I finally have it. A nice 46" (horrah) I have an hour to pick it up today, assuming I can convcine Janines partner to drive over and get it today. If not, then tomorrow. But that will involve being slightly more social.
Anyway.. more posts from here on in, I think. Or has everyone left LJ apart from Jon Blum and Kate Orman these days?
