The Past
You can't change the past. But what if you could? What would the world be like? Or would the world simply keep changing constantly as someone became dissatisfied with the present and decided to change things? It seems impossible that a reality would eventually happen that made everything perfect for everyone. On the other hand, some misanthropic soul might simply travel back far enough to wipe out all of humanity, making all this speculation pointless.
Though there are things in my past that I sometimes regret, I accept that I can't change them. There are a few decisions I've made that I might change given the chance, though how that might change the person I am today is far beyond my ability to even guess at. I'll never know what would have been, so I must satisfy myself with what is.
