malicat gave me an 'H'. But I couldn't come up with 10 english things that start with an H, so I cheated a bit *g*. I post 10 things that start with an 'H' in German...but I'll explain what they mean in English ;-)
1) Hunde - dogs. I just love dogs. When I see one, I even forget to ask if it bites. I just run over to cuddle it.
2) Hockey - Well i cheat again sice the German word would be Eishockey *g* But since I love this sport since I was a teengirl... *g*
3) Haie - Sharks. This is the name of my favorite hockey team. Koelner Haie. I don't miss a match, have a season ticket for more than 15 years :-)
4) Hobbies - no need to explain that, right? If I wouldn't like them, they weren't my hobbies, right? *g*
5) Hoerbuecher - audio books. I have lots of the, I love to listen to them to go to sleep or when I'm sick. I fell asleep very quickly then...at least most of the times :-)
6) Humor - another word that doesn't need an explanation. What would we do without a good laugh every day? I love laughing!
7) Highlands - I've been to Scotland when I was 15 and we had a house in the Highlands back then. I fell in love with the green hills that seem to have no end. Just beautiful. I really need to go there again!
8) Handy - mobile phone. What have we done back then when we didn't have a mobile phone? I can't even imagine not to have a phone in my bag and be able to call or textmessage friends whenever I want to.
9) Haribo - don't even know if people outside Germany know it. They make the best gummy bears and other yummy treats, I swear. The best thing is that my sister lives next to the Haribo factory and they have a store where they sell this stuff a lot cheaper than in normal shops \o/
10) H&M - I just love this shop. Cheap, trendy clothes. What a woman wants and needs :-)
