I know I say this every exchange, but... thank you, dear vidder, for stopping by and THANK YOU for making a vid - I'm excited we matched on one of the sources below and hope you have fun making whatever you make!
I tend to like action vids, recruitment vids, character vids and the occasional shippy vid. I often adore vids to songs and/or genres I'm unfamiliar with and I'm VERY open to any style you're looking to vid. In case you're searching for ideas, I've talked a bit about the shows and movies I requested below (and had fun gif-hunting). But if you already have a vid idea for any of these sources, please run wild with it!
✔ The Expanse (TV)
I love space. I love this show. I've loved every vid I've ever seen for this show. If you're searching for a suggestion, a character vid for Chrisjen Avasarala would be amazing. I also adore Anna, Bobbie, Drummer and everyone on the Roci crew.
✔ Star Trek: Enterprise
I rewatched this series last year and it rekindled my love of Trip/T'Pol, which is still going strong. If that ship isn't your thing, I also adored Hoshi, Travis and Reed. A general action vid would be amazing, too.
✔ Roar (TV)
I loved this show when it aired. It came up again in festivids a while back and I had so much fun revisiting the source and making a vid. I'd love to see more vids in this small fandom! I especially like Conor and Catlin (platonic or romantic) and also the teamy found-family feels with Conor, Tully, Catlin and Fergus.
✔ Space: Above and Beyond
This military scifi series shows its age in places, but I loved the ensemble cast and found family feels. My favorite character was Shane Vansen and I had a soft spot for Coop.
✔ The Unicorn Store (2019) [SAFETY]
Who hasn't harbored a life-long dream to have a unicorn? Or to be a unicorn? Or... IDK, magic rainbows and Samuel L. Jackson. Also Virgil! ♥
✔ Mortal Engines (2018) [SAFETY]
I was pleasantly surprised by this movie and adored the steampunk aspects. I really like Hester and Tom and would welcome any vid about their adventure - romantic or not. Anna Fang, however, stole my heart.
✔ Juanita (2019) [SAFETY]
A rom-com with mature people and diversity. I didn't realize I still had a soft spot for rom-coms until I watched this movie. Juanita and Jess are adorable and it's a silly-grin inducing sort of movie.
✔ Always Be My Maybe (2019) [SAFETY]
And while we're talking about rom-coms, this is another adorable one that just made me happy. Bonus Keanu Reeves playing a character based on an asshole-y version of himself. Which is still ♥ because it's Keanu Reeves.
