I generally love happy, feel-good things, found families, parodies. I also like action and explosions and space battles and car chases and triumphing over evil. Ensemble vids, character vids, shippy vids, recruitment vids... I like all the vid styles. In case you're searching for ideas, I've rambled on about the shows and movies I requested below. But if you already have a vid idea for any of these sources, please run wild with it!
Also, I often adore vids to songs and/or genres I'm unfamiliar with so I'm VERY open to any style you're looking to vid.

Bright
This movie is visually stunning. It's like an urban fantasy novel brought to life that isn't about romance, but about elves and orcs and MAGIC THAT CAN KILL YOU. Will Smith delivers his typical sarcastic, worn-out anti-hero and Jakoby is a wonderfully earnest character - the two have a great buddy-cop dynamic that I find endearing.
Roar
I loved this show when it aired. It came up again in festivids a while back and I had so much fun revisiting the source and making a vid. I'd love to see more vids in this small fandom! I especially like Conor and Catlin (platonic or romantic) and also the teamy found-family feels with Conor, Tully, Catlin and Fergus.
Stargate 1994
Stargate! Before the show this movie stole my heart. I loved everything on Abydos; Skaara, Sha'uri and Kasuf, Ra and his temple and Jaffa. I also liked how Daniel came into his own once at Abydos, and Kawalsky and the other military guys were like.... huh... ok. Another take I'd love to see is something focused on Catherine Langford (feel free to use SG-1 footage, too) and her connection with the stargate.
Stargate SG-1
Sam Carter is my favorite character (possibly of all time) and Stargate is one of the shows that brought me to LJ/DW!! I love anything teamy with the original flavor or with Vala and Cam - or both! A general sort of "Space Adventure" would be grand.
10 seasons is intimidating, so I'm absolutely welcome to anything that helps narrow the focus. Some character/episode ideas are: Janet Fraiser, 'Heroes', Jacob Carter, 'Beneath the Surface', Aris Boch, 'Space Race', Jonas Quinn.
Stargate is where I learned that shipping wasn't something you did at the post office. I liked Sam/Jack in the early years (I have issues with them later on) and then she became my little black dress... so Sam/Anyone is fair game. Sam/Teal'c and Sam/Cam are two of my favorites, but would happily consider any pairing (F/M or F/F). I also like any canonical ship like Daniel/Sha'uri, Teal'c/Ishta, etc. and though it's been years, I still ship the flyboys (Cameron Mitchell/John Sheppard) like it's my job. ♥
Supernatural
Again with a show that has TONS of source !(sorry?) I haven't stopped watching this show, but haven't watched anything past season 10 because I'm a slacker. I loved the early seasons, road trips, ghosts and other MOTW tales. My favorite characters are all the hunters: Sam, Dean, Bobby, Ellen, Jo, Rufus, Pamela, etc.
Wonder Woman
I've not seen any of the other DC comic movies, but this movie was FABULOUS! I adore Diana, her island family (her aunt! <33), the WWI setting, her awkward 'how-does-the-world-work' moments with clothing and hand holding, her insistence on doing the right thing, and of course her ability to kick butt. I'd also welcome Diana/Steve but anything with Diana being awesome and gorgeous would be perfect.
