see? i'm here!
wow. havent updated in a while. so break was awesome..i stayed in the frank sinatra suite at the ambassador east, it was HUGE. ok so my sisters apartment is 1000 square feet, and my house is 2800 square feet...this suite was 1300 square feet. it was amazing. i loved it. marty loves to spoil us beyond belief.
got a cute iPod case at urban...shopped a lot, ate a lot, walked around til like 2 in the morning a lot..
oh! and i saw mrs. renn! (for those of you who are just not cool enough...mrs. renn was one of our 2nd grade teachers at ash...and then she moved to chicago and works at the sacred heart there.) so i'm at a bar with marty, cheryl, and jess and i come back from the bathroom and they're talking to this lady with short hair (yeah she cut her hair) and they're like nicole do you know who this is? it was so weird. so we talked...and she says hi to all of you...she like asked about the boys and some of the girls and who was still there and who was still themselves. sometimes i wish we could go back to second grade.
met some cool kids at a fundraiser ...dermot "rhymes with kermit" from dublin and matt from texas. they were both really nice, gonna party with them next year. ahaha. dermot tried to convince jess to run a marathon, i think she actually might. hahah. so funny.
and the pope died! i was at a bar called topo gigio (haha..it was so cute) and the bartender was talking to us and then all of a sudden the news was like POPE DIED. i wasn't so sad at first, but then after going to blessed sacrament and looking at pictures of him when he wasnt like an invalid and out there doing so many good things for the world i got really sad. i really hope the new pope rocks. i think it would be cool if that nigerian cardinal got to be pope.
so overall chicago kicked ass. this guy drew a picture of me while i was eating dinner. it was funny...he was insane. a homeless man sang to me...and i got hit on by a pirate. at navy pier. he was so funny. as was the clown. found joey a summer job. haha. what else...i dunno, more later if i think of it. chicago rocked.
got home and then went shopping with mary on monday for sunglasses. our sales guy (justin) was sooo funny. he was like i like you in the futuristic ones...or the audrey hepburn ones...
then back to school...went to blessed sacrament cathedral for fye last thursday. it was really pretty. then that weekend...went out with mary, madddie, and alaina. that was fun. then saturday went to dinner in hamtramck with alaina marty and cheryl (yum..polish food.) and alaina and i definitely got lost in the ghetto. it was so funny. but scary too. we ended up like a mile away from the restaurant just because we made one wrong turn. then Godspell was really good. jesus went to u of d. all i gotta say. haha.
andddd my cousin ryan made it into harvey mudd california!!!! they're visiting this weekend, im so happy for him. and others didnt get in to places they wanted..hope everything turned out better for everyone else. went and got ice cream in astoria....
