Tom who was being ever so emo and pissing off his mun returned to the apartment after having tea with Ryn. His face was tear-stained but he was wearing a smile, not wanting Lucy to worry about him. "Lucy? You around?"

Ah, but Lucy always worried about him, especially today. When she walked in from the other room she decided, however, not to comment and make him feel worse. Instead, she just gave him a hug, asking, "Hey, where'd you head off to?"

Tom held on a little bit longer than he usually did and kissed her forehead. "Ryn wanted to catch up, we hadn't had a chance to talk in a while." He kissed her again "And what have you been up to little one?"

"Well that's good. I hope everything's alright with her." Lucy realized she actually hadn't seen Ryn in quite a while herself and hadn't spoken to her either, outside of the note. She should probably do something about that soon. "Not much, just reading a bit. You know how exciting I am," she joked.

He chuckled. "She's fine, and you're plenty exciting little girl." He kissed her. "Are...do you...you wanna watch that video I was telling you about?"

She kissed him back, then nodded. "If you'd like to." She wanted to see his friends, of course, but she wasn't entirely sure whether it would make him feel better or worse.

It was going to do both, but he needed to see it again, needed to see Angel's face. He wnet into a closet and dug out the projector and canister labeled "Today 4 U: Proof Positive" and in small letters below "wearing this out won't bring her back, Collins."

He set everything up and sat down next to the projector. He motioned for Lucy to come sit with him. He settled her on his lap. "Are you ready?" When she nodded, a started the film

((ooc: sorry it's the best video I could find))

Lucy watched the film, facinated, and held Collins just a little bit tighter at the first shot of Angel. "She really was beautiful," Lucy whispered. It could've been true of any of the women in the film, but Lucy thought it especially true of Angel.

When the film was over, she wasn't entirely sure what to say.

Tom had tears openly falling down his face, but he smiled. "She was, wasn't she?" He started the film again, pointing out the names of different people. When it ended this time, he kissed her. "What are you thinking, little one?"

"I'm not sure, really." She smiled a little at him, kissing him again. "You all looked so happy together," which shouldn't be an odd thing to say, but considering what they were all going through she thought it was. "You all loved each other alot, didn't you?"

He smiled. "With everything going on, we were more of a family than a group of friends. Unforunately, Angel was the glue that held us all together. When she died, we all...fell apart."

After he'd told her, a long while ago, about his actual family, she was happy now to hear he'd atleast had a *real* one at some point. "I'm sorry," she said. "But I mean, maybe it isn't the same as before, but you still all have each other, don't you? That's... I don't know, something, right?" If one ignored the bit about Mimi and Roger, the rest of them had sounded like they were doing well.

He shook his head sadly. "Maureen and Joanne are constantly warring, Mark is still drooling over Maureen, Angel is dead, I'm here, Roger is back on drugs and Mimi is dying. We've all grown apart. Our family died with Angel." It still angered him how the others had fought so viciously in the graveyard that day. My God, they had just lost Angel. Couldn't they have put aside their differences for a fucking day?

"I'm sorry," she repeated again. It wasn't the most profound statement ever, but Lucy didn't know what else to say. When her family had broken, it had been easier to ignore. With her sister on one side and everyone else on the other, all one had to do was just not mention her. Somehow she didn't think that would work as well here.

"You'd think they'd realise that Angel probably wouldn't have wanted all that and worked through it," she sighed. "I didn't even know her and I can tell she wouldn't."

Tom turned Lucy's head towards him and kissed her. He looked deep in her eyes. "Angel will always be a part of me. You know that. You also need to know I love you. I don't love you more than Angel, and I don't love you less. Anegl has been watching us, and Angel wants us to be happy. She wants all of her loved one to be happy. And Lucy?" He cupped her face in her hands. "I am happy."

"I know. I know, I do, of course I do." Lucy didn't know whether to laugh or cry at the moment, so she did a little of both. "And you don't know how much that means to me. And I love you and I'm happy too. More than I think I ever have been."

And she gave another little laugh and leaned over and kissed him again, because if she didn't she thought she wouldn't be able to stop herself from babbling even more.

He laid back and pulled her with him, never breaking the kiss. "You don't regret giving yourself to a man with a past?"
