Let's see, today was kind of an annoying day. "A" period, Government, went by soooo slow. I fell asleep, no lie, about 4 times, waking up each time assuming that about 15 minutes had passed...too bad it was only 4 minutes after I had fallen asleep. I HATE THAT CLASS. I honestly thing today was the slowest, and I mean THE SLOWEST, day of my entire life.
My car started making funny noises on my way to Putting on the Ritz this afternoon. Ya kno that time when it ran out of oil and practically blew itself up on the interstate? Yea, those kind of noises. Needless to say I was scared out of my pants, and decided to leave it in the store parking lot tonite...and there's a full-blown ghetto apartment complex next door. Way to do some of that smart thinking, Colleen.
Hmmm, my father returns home from Washington, D.C. around midnite tonite. He was there interviewing for some departmental Coast Guard/Homeland Security jobs. I really really really really really really hope that he's able to land them, seeing as though if he doesn't I don't know how my family's going to survive next year. ::frown:: On a brighter note, I am thoroughly impressed with my father's abilities and 'resume' and if I was them, I would definitely choose him. I mean, c'mon, who can resist a short, cute, round little bald guy???
When I got home today I was informed that I had a letter from College of the Holy Cross in Worcester. Umm, my total lack of excitement to open it and my lack of excitement after having opened it (even though it congratulated me on my acceptance) kind of made me realize how incredibly fast either my interest in colleges or my ability to attend them is being shot down reeeeeeeal fast. I began this year applying to 9 schools, and at the end I am down to 3 real possible options; one that I refuse to attend (LSU), and two that I keep debating over (and are private and awarding me hardly any money). Way to be a failure, Colleen. When they give you that second chance to apply to the RIGHT schools, Colleen, I'd say take it in a heartbeat. Oh wait, they don't do that, do they? Sux.
