Sooo, my New Year's Resolution isn't going too hot. Granted, I'm writing more than I used to, BUT it's still not as much as I had hoped to. I think I just have fun reading other people's. I AM going to start contributing more! Right now!

Hmmmm, what is going on in my life right now, you ask? Here's one. I was informed by my mother right before Christmas that the only way I was going to live on campus next year, or maybe even go to SHC next year, is if I got a Resident Assistant (RA) position. Sooo, I've gotten really intent on keeping my ears open for meetings and such that concern those positions. WELL, Jackson informed me yesterday during microbiology lecture that there was a meeting that night. I was soooooo grateful for the info. However, I got carried away making cookies for a friend's birthday last night, and TOTALLY forgot about the meeting. Soo, I missed it and got chewed out by my brother. I felt real bad. But it's okay, I went to the 'in-charge' woman today and told her I missed the meeting and she gave me a run-through and an application anyway, which, from my understanding, should NOT have happened. Thank God for small, personal schools and nice people.
Anything else...hmmm...I think I'm going to a friend's house in Schriever, LA (near New Orleans and Thibodeaux) for Mardi Gras with a bunch of people from SHC. I'm sooo stoked!
