On Hiatus

Okay, so here's the deal: This is the first semester of my second year at University and my last paper ends on 2nd December. However, the December holiday is just a month-long holiday and after it will be another 3 months plus of me being inactive again until some time in May.
My question is, would you rather have 2 updates in December, then me go off on hiatus again or just wait it all out until May? :) I was worried if the 2 updates in December would be disruptive to you guys retaining information about the story. Feel free to discuss more with comments or if you have something to add too.
