jillyson tagged me for Zaelem. Gawd I missed that guy! X)
1. He prefers awkward silence to making small talk. Greetings are unnecessary too-he would rather overlook your existence in the lift.
2. He really hates it when people gossip about him. He cannot stand being in the centre of attention and will do practically anything to evade people’s stares or get out of earshot. He would rather pretend not to know and hence, not be required to react to them.
3. He came from a medium-income family that owned farmlands and has had 2 brothers-one elder and one younger.
4. He built his own hut from gathering materials in the forest. It is illegal as the land belongs to the King, but nobody complained against him as he was a Telcharch (one rank below Wesarsh) by then. Before that, he rented a tiny room ( Chapter 31).
5. After he realised that Mejaine is staying in Grythen for good, he worked really hard at building his career and jumped up the ranks twice as fast as others normally do. That is partly due to his blue star of super agility, but also partly due to his excellent memory. He can memorise maps, manuals or just about any detail easily.
6. Like a double-edged sword, his superb memory caused him a great deal of unhappiness too. He finds it hard to let go of the past.
7. He has a habit of pushing his tongue against his cheek or arranging his hair when he does not want to answer you or is trying to think of an answer fast.
8. His hair grows extremely fast. To maintain his appearance, he cuts his hair weekly and shaves his chin almost every day.
9. He can’t be bothered with his meals. Eating straight from the can or tub, whether fresh or stale, is fine with him.
10. He secretly likes it that almost everyone thinks of him as a freak or a recluse and doesn’t approach him unless it is absolutely necessary. It makes it easier to handle people like that.
