a/n second fic written for notjustroomates Valentine's Day prompt
There are balloons in various shades of pink and red filling up Jensen’s entire trailer. They all have ‘I love you!’ or ‘Be Mine!’ or some other assorted phrase on them. They’re actually pretty freaking garish if Jensen is honest with himself and Jensen has a feeling Jared probably adores the stupid things and so he resist popping the damn balloons. But this is payback time.
He walks with Jared toward Jared’s trailer after the next scene in order to see Jared’s expression. U R Sweet is stuck on the trailer door and Jared looks intently at it before shrugging and taking the candy heart and popping it in his mouth. Jensen shudders at the sheer amount of bacteria and germs on that thing. Jared stops right inside the door, eyes wide and mouth dropped open in shock.
With the help of a couple of the PA’s, Jared’s trailer is decked out in white, pink, and red streamers along with a ton of carnations in various shades and candy hearts scattered everywhere. It almost makes Jensen’s eyes hurt with how much red and pink is going on but Jared’s just smiling hugely. He turns toward Jensen then and Jensen can’t resist that gorgeous grin of Jared’s.
“This is awesome Jensen! Did you do this?”
Jensen’s confused. He thought this would be awesome payback but apparently Jared likes all the décor. Actually, on second thought, Jensen should really have known. Jared loves anything and all love-related and pink. He nods slowly and if possible, Jared’s grin gets even bigger and Jared suddenly has his huge hands framing Jensen’s face and pulling him in for a kiss.
“Your plan backfired, huh?” Jared says teasingly before kissing Jensen in the way that makes Jensen’s entire body tingle.
Jensen’s pretty okay with his plan backfiring if it leads to amazing results like that kiss.
