Writer's Block: Family Matters
I am the older middle child. There are four of us. My older sister has cancer. My younger sister is the youngest, and is in the throes of tween-to-teenhood. My brother is the only boy in with four girls, so he usually keeps pretty quiet at home. I am the only one who does not live with my mum. I take care, as best as I can, of our connections over the distance. I am as close to my two younger cousins as I am to me siblings. That is my role.
