New newbie knitter!
So, I'm new to this community and my livejournal is not even a day old... I thought I'd look around for a knitting community and didn't I just find the perfect one?
I haven't been knitting very long, only since January, but I'm absolutely addicted to it. I'm slowly trying to progress my skills, moving from simple straight needles to circular, from plain knit to purling, and it's awfully exciting. Hopefully this community will help me find new and exciting directions to go with my knitting.
I've had friends who've visited me at school and been surprised how many people they see knitting. But isn't it one of the hippest things to do? It's so much fun when someone asks, "Where did you get that?" and you can say, "I made it!"
