Tequila Tasting @ Iron Cactus
So I went to the tequila tasting tonight after work, and it was fun! I've never had the opportunity to taste so many different types, and all of them good. I think I'm partial to "reprosado," however you spell that. More than say "silver" or "anejo." I didn't shoot all of them fortunately. Otherwise I'd be passed out and/or waiting for myself to sober up. LOL!
Tim and I ended up getting dinner afterwards. It was a good dinner too. I had some pork thingy with a very sweet glaze, but it had a smokey taste to it. Obviously grilled. Sides included garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. Unfortunately for me, I had a lot of appetisers during the tequila tasting and I was full after consuming 20% of my entree. The sad part is that when I told the waitress to put it in a to go box, she threw it away... How sad :o( But she felt bad herself that she even offered to give me money to compensate. I refused and still tipped her what I would have for a great meal. I'm not that much of an ass >< Although, I do wish that I had eaten more while I was there. Now I'm hungry again...
