You never realize how much courage it takes to kill a 3" long cockroach on the ceiling of your home until one actually finds its way in...
So I threw my one of my Chaco sandals at it, and it went "crunch!" My sandal fell due to gravity, but the cockroach did not. It stuck to the ceiling with its guts spread across the white pane. Eventually it did fall after a minute, and I was able to catch it in a Krispy Kream container. Luckily I didn't have to touch it at all. This one had wings, and I imagine that it flew its way into my home, obviously without my permission. Just think, those germ-infested bugs can fly their way into your home and attack you while you're sleeping in bed.
