Awe struck - and you'll know what this means if it's intended for you...
So I went climbing yesterday evening after work. It was pretty refreshing to say the very least. Hysteria is starting to be a walk in the park for me, but PeeWee's Big Adventure is still giving me trouble. It's my current "problem." And hopefully by mid summer I'll be able to consistently ascend that route. I flashed it the first time I got on. No one told me it was a 5.11d Who knew? But it does say something about how my mindset really affects how I climb. If I don't think it'll be difficult, I'm more inclined to finish it.
Today was fab. Totally fabulous. Now I sound like one of those kids on TV who use all those special catch phrases. I wonder what it would be like to be a TV star. I'm sure it's not nearly as glamorous as I think it to be. It's a lot of work, and doing shot after shot, especially after someone messes up their lines or the director decides to have a retake, I'm sure it could get to be stressful.
But back to today. Work was full of meetings. I got through them! And I had some very pleasant messages sent to me today to improve my day. Susanne and Lori always see me smile so brightly, they know who it's coming from. And they're always asking, "Is that her?"
