Zee Post, it is SO BIG!
So, it's been about 5 days since I've posted, and I thought it would be nice to fill you all in on what's been going on.
1) I turned 21 and had my first legal alcoholic drink, which was White Wine Sangria, which isn't really real Sangria, because real Sangria isn't made with grapes, apparently. I got many shiny and nice items, and some very nice checks from family members. Thank you notes will be mailed tomorrow...I dunno why, but I ALWAYS seem to drag my ass on thank you notes.
2) John Simm forgive me, I've been watching the new, Americanized, fail version of Life On Mars and enjoying it. HOWEVER, it's not because the show is awesome. It is simply because for an hour each week, I get to make fun of how hellaciously ugly and terrible Michael Imperioli's moustache is. I swear to insert deity of choice here, it looks like Ron Jeremy's moustache had a baby with John Holmes' moustache...IT IS THE ULTIMATE PORNO MOUSTACHE FROM HELL! When you watch the show with your mother, and YOUR MOTHER says it looks like the Porno Moustache From Hell, it MUST be true.
3) Speaking of shows I've been watching, *takes a deep breath* ZOMG NCIS!!! My SHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!! I'm loving it more and more each week, and not just because Michael Weatherly has a problem with buttoning the top two or three buttons of his shirt. There's action, crime-solving, and SNARK! Oh, the lovely lovely lovely SNARK! And JIMMY!!! ZOMG JIMMY!!! Mr. Palmer has CERTAINLY gotten funnier this season. Also, McGee and Abby should get back together...those two are cute as hell together. While we're on the subject of pairings, I have this to say re: Tony & Ziva hooking up: I wouldn't be happy, 'cause I like the dynamic now, but I do NOT have a problem with ANYTHING that gets Michael Weatherly naked. It's called "Mental Find & Replace," folks that said they'd stop watching! :D
4) I got bumped up to the top of the waiting list for California University of PA's housing complex called Vulcan Village, and we went to see the apartment the other day. Guys, it's AMAZING! They already have beds and stuff there, so I won't need to bring any furniture, & they said I can have a FISH if I want it! I am SO getting a couple of bettas and naming them "Thulgore" and "Comahahagrrr." gdtle1, daasuperstar, amarthel, and leafy07, I expect AT LEAST you guys to get the names. ;)
5) I've been drunk a couple of times since my birthday, and one of those days was spent drunkenly watching All Creatures Great and Small. Honestly, when you're drunk off your ass, there is nothing funnier than Peter Davison blowing up a cow accidentally...or watching Robert Hardy yell at him...or watch him do anything that involves drinking...hell, drunk or sober, the man is hilarious. I will say this, though: watching him do The Mad Conductor when you're drunk may cause a laughter attack of epic asthma proportions. Proceed with caution.
