LOL! Yes, yes, guilty as charged. Whimsi is my graphics-j. We totally met back when you downloaded my Logan theme (speaking of which, I redid the whole theme recently because the other one is two years old & embarrassingly drab & icky! I blame my ignorance for this! It was my first mood theme & I totally didn't know what I was doing! You can find the pretty, shiny upgraded version here!) & had this whole epic conversation, then Spoony jumped in & THE 3 OF US had this whole epic convo & then I see a comment from you on Spoony's j & I'm all like, "that's so weird I haven't seen anything from Anna on my f-list in a long time" so I check &-- yeah. *hangs head* HTF did THAT happen, I so don't know?! One of those hiccups in the universe I spose. But it's all fixed now!! *self-conscious cough*

Ha! Yays! *does a little dance* I do a ton of MW work at Whimsi, so I'm glad the fans like it. A friend & I are starting up a new MW comm within the next month (cause MW Daily is seriously the only MW-centric comm out there & we're like "NO! That's not EVEN right!!") so I'll be doing even more work to accommodate that!

YAY SHINY NEW LOGAN! *downloads it immediately* This'll be fun to upload...haven't uploaded a moodtheme since...the last Logan moodtheme. XD Eventually, I'd like to have my LiveJournal Dark Shadows themed, but pretty much NOBODY knows what that is nowadays, and pictures from the original series are hard to come by. :( But hey, Logan is ALWAYS good, so at least I has something wonderful to stare at while I plot how to get the Dark Shadows-pimpin' LJ I have in mind. LOL!

Hey, it's all fixed, and the universe is back in sync, and all is well. :D And yes, I will TOTALLY join your comm when it's up and running! I NEEDS more MW in my daily life. Sadly, whenever I intend to spend a day sitting on my rear watching my Dark Angel DVDs, something always seems to come up. Like today: it was my intention to spend the day watching Dark Angel, and then I see the revival version of Dark Shadows with Ben Cross is on. Plans = foiled. XD

On the Dark Shadows thing, if you can find me some decent caps (which may be your challenge right there) & find a layout you like, I'll build you a custom header for it. *nods* I do take requests down a Whimsi (when I'm not overloaded with projects-- which is like, HA NEVER! *LOL!* but I make a habit of "squeezing friends in") so I wouldn't mind designing you one. Otherwise, I could make you a Michael header of some kind (I have PLENTY of resources for that!). MW, LC, TD, you name it!

That's the overwhelming issue right there: decent caps! The show itself is so feckin' ancient that it's hard to find anything good! I may go on a search later tonight for caps. I'd love to have at least ONE Barnabas or Quentin icon...because OMG QUENTIN. Screw Team Jacob; if I'm on ANY werewolf's team, it's TEAM QUENTIN! It would be really cool if you could design me the header. I bet I could find an HTML site that would tell me how to fiddle about with the layout. I gotta learn me how to do that SOMETIME! :D

It's hard to hold DA negligence against someone ditching it for vampires if the vampire in question is completely made of awesome (I mean, dude! BARNABAS COLLINS HAD A PIMP CANE! Well, it was actually a black cane with a wolf's head topper, but he wore a cape when he used it, so IT'S A PIMP CANE!). And not Edward Cullen. XD

*nods* This is true! & unfortunately, decent caps are a MUST if you want nice art. PS has a lot of tricks, but there's only so much one can do with a bad cap. If it helps, I found a Dark Shadows LJ comm here & you never know what you might find if you look. *shrugs*

My offer of Michael art still stands. (Or Logan) & seriously girl, to use a premade layout on LJ is EASY! You don't need to know HTML for that! Just follow the step-by-step instructions & copy/paste to install! The only thing you might need code for is if you are going to change the layout up, & if worse came to worse, I read/write HTML code (coded 4 web sites from the ground-up) & I know enough CSS to get by so I could get you out of trouble if need be. My personal favorites are milou-veronica, refuted, visual-wit & velvet-box. The color change layouts here are also extremely flexible (she has a couple different layout styles in bunches of color combos) & if you still don't see anything you like, try your hand at the massive garage sale of layouts found at minty-apple.

LOL! You are completely right, Anna! I'm NOT holding it against you, babe! My personal vamps of awesome are the Moonlight boys, so I totally feel you! Need to watch some Dark Shadows myself (its one of those fandoms I've always wanted to get into & for one reason or another I end up putting it off) & all your refs, plus an awesome pic!spam I saw for the upcoming movie version makes me want to see it!! I need to add the box set to my Blockbuster queue, for sure!!

Edward Cullen = Massive teen sophomoric crap! Remind me I have an icon I need to send you! It has the Twilight cover (with the cupped hands & the apple) only instead of the apple she's holding a pile of dog shit! *LOL!* I know, its gross, but it makes the point soooooo effectively!

Ooh...think I know how I'm spending Saturday! I might set up a test journal account like Spoony has so I don't ruin this one tooling around with the layouts. XD

*misses Moonlight...was a good show and no one can tell her otherwise!* If at all possible, start with the original Dark Shadows. The only downside to that is that there's an assload of DVD sets. The 1991 reboot had only 13 or so episodes, so there's a good jumping off point. And it doesn't hurt that Ben Cross is pretty good-looking. *knows way too much about a show from the '60s for her own good* XD

I have that as a larger graphic on my journal somewhere, but since I've got an icon dump planned for the near future, I will TOTALLY NEED THAT ICON! Oh, and that doesn't gross me out, trust me. I've still got a VERY sophomoric sense of humor. Only thing that'll gross me out is roadkill and taxidermy...which is weird, because I really want a jackalope at some point. XD

S'totally a great idea!! DO IT, DO IT!! I don't know why I never did that myself (especially since everytime I wanted to fiddle with a layout on my J or Whimsi, I had to be all like: OMG! Don't look at me for-- a day! Turn your eyes away, DAMMIT!!) I guess I was all just "but I'll never use it". *snorts* HA! With four comms & a personal-j I have to keep up with, seems like I'm ALWAYS fiddling with some damn layout thing lately & its getting a bit ridiculous to keep saying: "ok Whimsicons is roped off for a week-- DON'T LOOK AT IT, DON'T PEEK!" So yeah, I opened my own test comm & thank you for in your awesomeness making it clear to me that its what I should do! (Didn't know Spoony had 1, but it makes sense. She'll have a layout 1 day, then like the next its all-new & amazing! I just thought she was some magic layout guru that everything worked perfectly for the second she changed a layout! Wow! My illusions have been shattered! *sniffle* Spoony is mortal after all! Who knew?)

Moonlight is TEH AWESOME- my only Vampire Love (I've heard tiny, tiny rumors CBS might extract their head from their ass & bring it back, but I won't post anything until it comes more substantial, cuz I can't bear to break people's hearts again!) & I WILL start with the original DS (which I suspect will get TONS more attention after the movie comes out! You know that always happens in media flurries!) I've seen bits & pieces of the '91 remake (cuz it was on Hulu & I confess I only watched it for the Michael T. Weiss unsung role-- Jared!Love) but I didn't stick with it. The original is doubtless better anyway, they usually are!

*LOL!* I'll try to find the icon again. No telling what I did with it.
