ok, i dont want to post, but i feel bad that i havent in a while so here goes:
right now, im totally inhaling as many girl scout cookies as i can. ive had them in my room for a while and havent touched them. now, i just cant stop shoving them into my mouth as fast as possible. they're so good.[cookie]
this week was pretty good but i hate recap entries so i wont do it. you just wont know what i did that was so cool.[haha, no cookie after this one. i'm so strong willed]
[cookie. shit]ok, lets throw that last paragraph out. it was a shitty paragraph anyway, only one line long. what is this, a newspaper? i hate how newspapers have one sentance long paragraphs. its pretty cheap.
friday night me sobes and dani went to see pat mcgee at afterhours which is a "club" on campus. in order to see pat, we had to wait outside for 30 mins, sit on the floor through 2 sets of decent people and 2 sets of horrible people, and mc chris. but it was so worth it. if you dont know who mc chris is, dont worry about it. he's the voice of meatwad on aqua teen hunger force. hes a short white middle age man who sounds like a 10 year old and raps about nerds and starwars. probably the weirdest show ive ever been to. i was so relieved when he got off the stage.
and pat was awesome. todd, the keyboard/vocal/guitarist(sometimes) left through a song to go to the bathroom or something and set off the fire alarm. when he came back in we all yelled "way ot go asshole". and i met some girl who had sick dreads. and now i REALLY want them. ibby said she'd get them with me if her parents wouldnt disown her. but they would so she wont. i had corey convinced that i had them already and he freaked out. it was funny.
saturday was springfest. less than jake opened. me and skunda were in the front. first two songs everyone was chillin. beginning of third song, some kid comes up to us "lets get a circle pit going!" fuckin sweet. so we start running into people and start the pit. awesome time. awesome show. they were amazing live. i hadnt been to a show like that in so long i loved it. aaaaahhhhh. it was great.
next was dropkick murphys. i was kinda excited to see them cause i hadnt before. they sucked. the volume was WAY too loud and there was WAY too much distortion. it just generally sucked. i left the pit after like 2 songs cause i really wasnt feelin it. fuck that.
moby was next (wtf?). he was actually alot better than i thought he would be. i expected techno-button-pushing-everyone-swaying. but he was up there rockin out. pretty good show for the first three songs we stayed for. then we left.
mr belding came to my school that night and talked in afterhours but i didnt go. sunish said it was pretty good.
today there were tours at my school and it was crazy. me skunda and jake went rollerblading for like 2 hours and prob went about 7 miles. i had an AMAZING time and want to go back out right now. im itchin for it. i love it. and i want new skates. if anyone is selling or knows someone, hit me up.
