Im not really in the update mood. Im not tired but i know i need to sleep soon. but Ive gotta document this. Umm today I had my usual classes. nothing too special. I found about 3 or 4 mistakes on my test today. the important note came when I saw Spike Lee. He was a pretty cool guy. Grew up in brooklyn. went to school with shaun's mom. i liked most of what he had to say. the part that i liked hearing the most was how much disgust he has for "gangsta rap" eg. bitches, hoes, pimps, bling (although that slang word has been over used is on its way out). he basically said that now on the streets of brooklyn kids look to become hoes but especially pimps. that u might be come called an oreo if u got an education and were bright. he really didnt like that music or genre. he really detested Soul Plane. I asked him the question who he listens to and he said Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, and Kanye West. I cant wait til this whole philosophy gets into the mainstream. To stop listening to this crappy... studio owned rappers making this bs. What would be great is if he made a movie about it. in any case he's a professor now at NYU so i guess if ur looking to run into him NYU "campus" is the place and im sure he'll be around in the NYC. well i need to get some rest. 830am woohoo!!!!!!!!!
