Stuff
Yesterday at the lake was a lot of fun, but I got sunburned pretty good. There were seven little kids under the age of eight. I helped my little cousin Hamp fish. He has the cutest lisp, and we caught three fishies! Today we went to church, and I played with Jane Margaret. She's so cute, she keeps saying she wants someone to take care of, and today, she had me taking her stuffed puppy to the bathroom. Tomorrow is band camp, and I'm not terribly excited about that. Once band camp starts, it's like we're back to school even though we don't technically go back till the 16th. Arthur leaves for college on the 25th. I'm trying to figure out where to donate my C-SPAN money to. I want to give it to a place that's really gonna use it, and need it. I thought about giving it to the Duke Brain Tumor Center, but I also thought about giving it to Operation Smile. (If you don't know what it is, go to operationsmile.org)It's really an issue of whether I want to do something really far reaching, or something that could help a more narrow group of people. I can't stand people who want to judge you before they really know you.
