DAY #10: Childhood Memory
While this isn't the one I grew up with, years ago I bought this Ronald McDonald doll from the 1970's on eBay because I wanted to be reunited with my freaky-whistle-blowin' Ronald! Somewhere there's a picture of me as a toddler with my old Ronald, apparently I really liked him because he actually *did* something (you stick the whistle into his tiny mouth hole and squeeze his belly and he blows the whistle...this is impressive to a toddler!). In general, the actual Ronald McDonald squicks me out but I guess I like his likeness in vintage collectibles. ;)
...and who *couldn't* love a doll that *blows* like a moFo? ijs.
