eta: I'm trying to not look ahead but zomg, I am scared of Day #13...if only I had 13 cats! Damn.

DAY #2: What you wore today
Funny story (of course)...today was the first day I wore this shirt out and a *tiny* part of me felt self-concious of it, or rather I was on the defense, thinking I should have a quick comeback in case some douchebag were to say something. I didn't think anyone noticed it, but when I was checking out at Michael's, the cashier kept looking at me oddly so I thought maybe it was because of the shirt. Then I thought she was just listening in on me and the kids goofing around about their automated number system (you wait in a long-ass line and a tv screen near the front flashes the number of the next available cashier and it totally looked like some sort of game show, so when it was our turn we all hooted and hollered like we'd won something, lol). ANYWAY, it wasn't any of that. She looked at me and was smiling, and she said, "Do you know who you favor?" Now, that wording alone I thought was so weird and she was probably 10 years younger than me, it sounded so foreign...I mean, I knew what she meant ('Do you know who you look like?') but just the way she said it almost made me chuckle. I had a feeling I knew who she was going to say, but I played along and asked who and she said "Katy Perry!" and then apologized for staring at me, it was really funny. I told her I've heard it before and then Nathan pipes in and tells the cashier that all his classmates think Katy Perry is his mom, hahaha.
