Well, SO MUCH FOR FOLLOWING THE RULES OF "LITERATURE BASED" COSTUMES! Nathan was the only one who did!! Everyone else (who dressed) was in your average Halloween costumes...ninjas, witches, tv cartoon characters, etc...I guess I'm the only one not oblivious to the guidelines the school set. YEESH. I had a feeling, but was *hoping* there would be some creative people out there who would come up with something interesting. I guess that's too much to ask around here. :P As I thought, there wasn't even a costume contest, so much for rewarding the kids who actually complied and used their imagination.
ANYWAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY...everyone loved Nathan's costume, all the kids & parents were coming up to me and saying how creative it was and that I make great costumes (they remembered the Alien Abduction from last year), so that's awesome. There was a mom there who when I told her I was a 'photographer', she asked me how much I charge. Nerrrr...I don't? She said I should (but then it would be a real job, with real pressure...not my cuppa!). Celine said kids at school were asking how much she had to pay to get her costume made (that's a compliment!) and at the party on Saturday in L.A., people were asking me if I worked in wardrobe in the biz (I wish!). :D
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!
LOL, look at the faces of all the girls on the right...they're fixated on that giant peach! @_@
eta: Nathan won the costume contest!
He also got a shout-out from the DJ at the mall as he walked past while trick-or-treating, lol.
