So today, Dave called Comcast (because we're tired of waiting for them to call us back) ad they told him that they need us to (wait for it) pay the $980 in advance. Tomorrow.
Somehow we went down $10. But still no date of service, no itemized bill showing HOW they came to this number and no contract with them in place.
BUT I now have an address for he local office. I will be going there tomorrow when they open at 8:30am. I will sit there all day if I have to until the highest person in charge at that office is available. I'll be sure to pack some water and snacks because I KNOW it will take a long time. But now that we have a location, it's go time.
It's unfortunate for them that they messed with a woman who's over 8 months pregnant, gets very little sleep at night, is uncomfortable as all hell and has no job. I can spend my entire day there if I have to. And the next day and the next day...
