Here is Prince of Memphis.

Words cannot express my pride and joy over this sweet boy.

'Prince of Memphis' won't be available for purchase until January 6th, but you can stream him exclusively on Soundcloud as of now, a week and a half early! Please enjoy him! We are very proud!

Yaddy-yadda:
‘Prince of Memphis’ finds itself borne as a symbiosis of two creative minds from very different worlds: the highly disciplined and classically trained genius of violinist/ violist/ conductor Will Curry and the self-taught, synesthesia-driven madness of Melody Pilotte, who creates music professionally under the name Le Bas-fond. Introduced through mutual friend, actor and recording artist, Ian Patrick Gibb, Curry and Pilotte have embarked on a courageous multi-genre project together. This album closer opens up not only the incredible possibilities of this collaboration, but the next sonic chapter in Le Bas-fond music.

Written for another of their mutual friends, Jordan Nichols, director and associate company member of Memphis, TN’s own Playhouse on the Square, ‘Prince of Memphis’ combines both of their talents and allows both artists to flourish in their wheelhouse, Curry in cinematic strings, and Pilotte in evocative storytelling and lyricism, capturing the mutual admiration for Jordan and the essence of Memphis itself. Richly detailed arrangements, pristine vocals and nurturing tenderness renders this new track the full treatment, and proudly introduces this project to the world.

In the late Spring of 2015, Le Bas-fond is set to release her second LP, All The Queen’s Men, in collaboration with Will Curry.
