I totally agree with you. Sometimes we get too caught up in where we're going that we end up missing the ride, and usually it's only too late that we realize this. Being happy is one thing, but realizing what you have and appreciating it before it's gone is key.

i guess i agree to a point.. but i dont think anything special has really happened to me in awhile that i need to sit and stare at it..

so maybe if something good happens i will comepletely agree. but its been awhile.

I think part of his point is it's just everyday life that we really need to stop and appreciate

freshman year was amazing. and maybe a little depressing in retrospect. not because it was bad or anything. just because it can never happen again and never is an awfully long time. i'm glad this year is going well. give everyone my best.

it makes sense. i can think of a lot of things i miss. or wished it would have lasted longer. but i guess i took it the wrong way because i realized i loved the good things and appreciated them at that time. ahhh well

and i miss you! come back now. right now. ^-^

Haha.
I miss you too, man. But you'll be home soon enough. Also, have awesome stories about Irish coolness.

i second that. im sitting here in the comp lab in costa rica getting all misty reading this. homesick and nostalgic is a bad combination.

also colin, i totally agree. i think about this a lot actually. i feel like there's no way i can possibly appreciate enough everything that i have when i have it, because time slips away way too quickly. mundane, everyday things you don't pay attention to at the time end up being the glory days sometime down the road.

ps. i need to see those frosh year pictures. that was the best year of my life, i loved hanging out with all you guys between our two rooms, going to t/w at like 11:30 at night, and just farting around endlessly. *biiig sigh*
