I went through a phase where I took text portions, poetry, or lyrics and translated them into one language then another then another on babelfish before translating them back to English. I would be entertained by the results, but I would also sift through them for any little tidbits or combinations of words that I could then use and expand on myself. It came close to using some sort of random word generator for inspiration.
