The festival went well. I think even though the subject of AWH is a little out there and not done often, it was well received. I guess people love thrillers no matter their about. After the premiere I got so many nice comments on it from fans. They liked seeing me in a different role than just your standard geek, which usually isn't that much of a stretch for me since I'm a self admitted geek ( and proud of it, thank you very much ). It was thrilling, excuse the pun, to play someone who isn't lovable and just plain crazy. A challenging role, I think it was a wise career move. You know , I could be like Christan Stalter now. His career took off after "American Pyscho", so many mine will do the same. Hey, a guy can dream. Leave me alone. One of the comments I got the most is about how I gained weight for the role. That wasn't that hard actually because I had already gained alot of while in New Zealand with all the bread and lamb I ate. It wasn't just a spontaneous 'I think I'm going to gain some weight' thing, though. I rather like keeping my girlish figure *hair flip* slim but it made sense for the role. I mean if a guy sits infront of the computer doing nothing but watching his quote un quote girlfriend, he's going to be too lazy to do a daily work out. So I got fat for the role. When filming was over, I went on a self proclaimed diet and I'm back to what I used to be. You can't call me fatty anymore so don't even try, kthanx. I had to stay in New York for a few extra days to take care of a few things and now I'm finally back home. Just in time too because I do believe I need to start planning for my first wedding anniversary with Em. I can't believe it's almost been one year already. It's unbelievable. I'll get all gushy what not later. I think for now I'm going to go make some lunch because I'm staving and I may waste away to nothing if I don't get something to eat.
