Get the dour stuff over with first then.. Dad's bone scan results were encouraging. He's not riddled with cancer - there's just 'slight activity' in his back. Which with prostate cancer is what usually happens. Apparently. He's had his hormone implant so in three months he'll be (very close to) testostrone free. So that really IS a male menopause. He'll get hot sweats and everything. Heh. He'll have a blood test at the beginning of December to acertain his PSA level - the closer to zero this is, the better.
In other news, last weekend I broke my 6,000 mile mark in Mr. Car. So he's got 9,000 now. If anything he seems a bit faster than he did. Like he's broken in or something. Still washing him every week when I get the chance. I must do a proper post about my car-love.
Oh and the car really IS a him. And he's got a high pitched voice with Joe Cole-like cockney accent to boot. I'm tellin yer.
