I've lost a day!
I hate when this happens...Sunday just sort of...evaporated.
With all the craziness at work on Saturday (daylight savings, past boyfriends resurfacing, bartenders getting hospitalized, violence and police, etc), everything seems to have melded over into today. Monday. First day of the last week of school. Until a couple of weeks later when summer semester begins. Yay.
So, a random post about what has happened to me today.
Not much really. I'm still very sick, but I took some medication yesterday which made me wake up super early this morning. So I sat up watching kids movies for a while. Then I went outside during the 10 minute flash storm we had, and got entirely drenched. It was uncomfortable to say the least, as I'm not an outdoors person, and the drowned rat look doesn't suit my skin tone at all. On the plus side, I was inexplicably happy, and I laughed the whole way to the car. I haven't laughed in the rain in ages...it felt good. But now my cough is worse. damn. Also, I got my polisci paper back, and it turns out I really shit the bed on this one. 70%...and while it is one of the lower marks I've gotten on a University paper, what I'm really upset about is the comment the T.A. made about how my analysis was 'superficial'. It was...but still. Sucks to see that on paper. Oh well.
Anyways, bath time.
