My Birthday was yesterday!
I'm 18 and can do all sorts of stuff now! Not really, but I did buy a lottery ticket. I didn't win. I had a birthday weekend. On friday, we celebrated my birthday at work. I got a crown, and I made chocolate chip cookies with the kids. Then on Saturday, I went out to dinner with some friends and had a bonfire, and then on Sunday, my real birthday, I celebrated with my family. I got a TV for my dorm! And it's a flat little one so it can fit in my dorm roon! Basically it looks like a computer monitor.
I think that its just starting to hit me that I'm going to college next month, and I won't be living at home. Even though I'll be living in Portland and it's not that far away, its still going to be wierd. I wish I could have my car in college. It's going to be so frustrating because Vancouver will be so close, but so far away. And I'm not used to Portland! Agh!
Anyways, I'm beginning to get scared, even though I know I'll be able to make new friends and stuff, I'm going to miss my old ones. I just don't want things to change. But I guess they have to.
