Glee's season finale is in just over 3 days - can you believe it? So the question is: our boys may be keeping busy, but what are we going to do with ourselves this summer? Here are some ideas and thoughts so far:
- Group watch posts for AVPM/AVPS, and maybe more Starkid productions. Since we're all about Darren and Chris, why not do as much squeeing over their respective projects as possible? (Of course, in this case, more Darren, but I don't think Chis would mind, right?) For this, we would probably split the shows up between acts to make it a little more practical time-wise.
- Fic, art, etc. challenges and memes. You guys probably know the drill, but let us know of any particular ones that you've enjoyed in other places. Also, check out our prompt post right here. :)
- Glee-watches. With this, rather than just go straight through the episodes, we could have themes. One series of favorite Kurt/Chris episodes and one of Blaine/Darren (admittedly, this would probably just be most of his episodes :P).
- A thought: appreciation months for both Chris and Darren. This would encompass all the other activity ideas and maybe spawn a few. For instance, we could set aside June for Darren, July for Chris, and then have August for both. Thus, we would put Starkid in June, favorite Kurt episodes in July (and into August, probably), etc.
Let us know your thoughts! Also, I was thinking we could plan things around Fri, Sat, Sun, as I want to be able to include as many people as possible. But we can mix that up a little as well and do a few weekdays.
Anyway, back to the present for the moment. This being our last weekend before the end of season 2, I've got a few ideas planned:
Saturday, May 21st: (I'll be posting this in a few minutes) CrissColfer Playlist. Basically like a fanmix, but collaborative. :)
Sunday, May 22nd: (Posted tomorrow morning) General Post of Squeeness. Ok, so even if you're not a squee-er. Just what is it that you really love about Darren and/or Chris? Songs, scenes, quotes, interviews, hair, eyes...yeah, you get the idea. ;)
