YAY WAL-MART!!!

I'm tuckered out! I met with my mentoring teacher today. He's really funny, he's been teaching for years upon years. The only thing is, this whole curriculum is new to him, so I'm afraid that I'm not going to get the experience I should and that he would want me to have. I'm disapointed that the professors at my school never let him know about a student teacher, because I don't think he would have ever taken me on, he's not really in a place to take on a student teacher this semister. Anyway, he's a lot of fun. I helped him unpack a lot of his room and move a bunch of stuff around. The rooms at North are by far the worst I have ever seen in my life. They are all seperated by room seperators and the things you make cubicles out of. It's a pretty pathetic environment.

After I helped my teacher unpack, Steve and I unpacked the rest of his stuff. We fit everything we needed to fit into storage and the rest is going under storage things under my bed. That's for tomorrow. I got a bookshelf today that I've been wanting since I move in here in December, so I'm THRILLED about that!!!!! I managed to fit all my books and pictures on it too, with soem extra room. I wanted a big book shelp because I knew I'd need all the shelves on it sooner or later. It's so nice now that we have more room, before I was going nuts with all the boxes everywhere. I'm surprised it only took one day. There's a couple boxes left, but those will be easy to switch into the storage boxes and then we'll be DONE! until december that is...UGH! The good thing is, a lot of our stuff is in storage, so it's aalready boxed and ready to go. I love moving...isn't it obvious?!

Yay wal-mart! I got my school stuff there today. Normally I wait until the kids have already gone back to school and pick from whats left. Trouble is, whats left isn't want I want and what I need isn't there. So, I decided after leaving North, which is across the street from wal-mart to stop in. I got my folders (the cheep ones for 5 cents a piece! I also got spiral notebooks for $1...10 of them that is. I could have bought one for 54 cents or 10 for $1, tough decision. I also got a (gasp) briefcase there. I know, I have to do the teacher thing now, no more backpacks for me, gotta seperate myself from the students ands try to look professional. So, if anybody needs any school supplies go to wal-mart! Well, it looks like it's bedtime for me, I've had a long day, and I get to sleep in tomorrow. YAY!!!
