My mood icon is EXACTLY how I feel right now...uh dir...
I spent my two days off helping Steve move in, it wasn't so bad, thank goodness he doesn't have much stuff. Today we went downstairs to wash our clothes so we'd have some clothes for NY, and noticed a nice puddle of water where my bathroom always leaks, the leak looks just as bad as before, thank goodness we'll be out of town. I left the manager a notice and told him I'd be out of town and to just send the repair guy in to fix whatever. I had to laugh, I'm always home when they tear my bathroom apart, I'm excited that we won't be here. I'm starting to think that maybe the guy who fixes everthing thinks I just want him over for tea. Damn, it's not like he hasn't been here enough already. It was so good to know that I only have to pay 170 for rent this month, YAY STEVE!
Work was so boring today, I spent the first 2 hours working on homework becasue I didn't have any customers, yay fun. Ah, at least I got something productive done. I'm done packing except for my carry on and the stuff I'll need for tomorrow and tuesday morning. Shoot, I probably should have packed a sweatshirt....*note to self, don't forget that sweatshirt. I'm starting to get real excited about the trip. I just want some time off!
I have a store meeting tonight, yay fun. I love getting yelled at for a hour and a half. We're supposed to find out who our new manager. Ours transfered to Bozeman friday. I was speechless today when a customer asked for the store manager and I called the manager on duty (not the head manager, seeing as how we don't have one now) and the guy said he didn't want that one and asked who the head manager was. I didn't know what to tell him. just told him he was transfered and that the new one wasn't here yet, he wanted to know the new manager's name. I wanted to make soemthing up just to make him go away. That's okay, the guy's going to call coorporate anyway. LOL! how many times do you think I hear that in a week, and have I ever been pulled aside and talked to, nope, sure haven't.
My poor plant is going to die while I'm on vacation, there's no one to water him, he's already not looking so healthy because it's been so hot and dry. I'm tempted to take him to work and have the service desk watch him! he's my buddy! lol
I'm not looking forward to the heat and humidity in NY. I hate humidity. I don't like getting out of the shower and feeling like I didn't dry off. For some odd reason I don't like that sticky feeling in the air and feeling like I'm coated in heavy water all day. I've lived in dryness my whole life, I can't be exposed to this! noooooo! Wow, I think this is my cue to go.
