Not that my life has been full of jet set moments or fabulous encounters, but man, I haven't updated since the beginning of March!
Why does no one tell me of these things?! Anywaaaaaaaaaaaaay
As I said there really hasn't been anything too spectacular. Maybe mildly spectacular. Or quasi-spectacular, maybe. Lets see if I remember it all, or any of it for that matter.
2 Saturdays ago Bonnie and I saw Wicked again. It was still awesome. I would so see it again. After, we went backstage. My grandmother, the one who now resides in Torrington, her boyfriend's granddaughter runs the hair department for Wicked, so that was really cool. We got to see all the costumes and props. Plus, walk on the stage, which was WEIRD. It seemed so small. We got our picture taken with one of the Oz heads. You know when the Wizard pretends to be this big mechanical thing? That's what it was. It was very surreal.
In other theater news, this Saturday, we're seeing The Pajama Game, starring a certain friend's future husband, Harry Connick Jr. ;)
Let's see what else? Hmmmmmm. ok! Work!
We've literally gotten three new kids in the last three weeks. And with only one new hire, it's been, well a tad bit crazy. Our newest, and hopefully last new kid started today. He is allergic to peanuts and yesterday we all had an epi-pen class with one of the school nurses. Followed by a fun time of cleaning out all our kids snacks that had those fun "may be processed in a plant that handles peanuts" type of thing.
So today, he came in. And he was sent home by 10 am. His eyes were watering, throat scratchy. We were all like, "great, he's here one day and we manage to kill him!" But actually, he had pink eye and a cold. So that was just as delightful.
Let's see, what else? Oooooh I know!
Last Friday, Moosa, Marie and I hung out, had a delightful dinner and watched some truly awful MST3K. Wait, that's really just an oxymoron there.
Saturday night, we got to meet more of Moose's awesome work friend's, when one of them hosted a sex toy party. It was very informative and a lot of fun.
Well, that's all I can think of. I'm sure if I left anything out, someone will remind me.
friends,
