Christobal Colon Day Fun
Heh heh, I said colon.
Today was nowhere near as exciting as I thought it would be. I kid! It was nice. Very lax, despite the fact that every place we went was jam-packed with people.
I met Lil at Chili's where we wanted to have lunch, but they were packed. So he headed to Friendly's. Packed. Applebees. Packed. Widow Brown's. Packed. Finally, we said screw it, and had lunch at the Borders cafe, which was packed, but we were able to get a table.
We headed to Loew's because we decided to see Serenity, but it was sold out. And we didn't care to wait another 2 hours for History of Violence, so we said screw it, and moved on.
We had way too much fun in Target. We swung back through Danbury and hit Home Goods, where I got some sweet cards for only $2.99. Lil got a sweater defuzzer. The word sounds just as funny as it does saying it. Defuzzer, defuzzer, defuzzer. Ha!
We also went to Chamomile and other assorted stores. We parted ways about 5ish and then I did my food shopping and junk.
All in all, a fun day even if it was Mal-less and Viggo-less.
