Broadway's Upcoming Leading Man Stephen Lynch Tours Prior to Wedding Singer Debut

Audiences can catch a sneak peek of the comedy and vocal stylings of Broadway's upcoming Wedding Singer leading man Stephen Lynch as he performs at a number of venues including New York's City Hall on Oct. 6.The comedic singer-songwriter is booked through November, promoting his forthcoming "The Craig Machine" album release, before heading into rehearsals for the new musical in December. A regular on New York's "Opie and Anthony" radio show, Lynch has built a following with his unique comic songs playing comedy venues and colleges across the country. He received a "Comedy Central Presents" special in 2000 and subsequently released his first album "A Little Bit Special.” Since his 2000 debut, he has also released "Superhero" (2002) and a live DVD, "Live at The El Rey" (2004).

Lynch will play the title role of Robbie Hart in The Wedding Singer opposite Laura Benanti (Nine, "Starved") as his love interest Julia.
