ANIMEFEST 2010 - Here I come!!!
Oh yes, friends, I am going to AnimeFest in Dallas, TX over the Labor Day weekend. We had been planning to go to Corpus Christi on vacation. Our plans changed when Rem showed me the Google map with the route to the hotel in Dallas. The freeway runs right behind the parking lot. I'm not crazy about driving in the traffic up there but I want to go to the convention sssoooo badly. It's about a 4-1/2 hr drive to get up there.
I won't have a lot of spending money for the Dealer's Room; I don't have much of a 'wishlist' this year so that doesn't really matter. What matters is just being at the convention, surrounded by cos-players and fans who enjoy anime & manga (especially Yaoi) as much as I do. *GRINS* We didn't get to attend one last year.
Work has been kicking my butt. I am definitely ready for some vacation in September.
Is anyone else going to AnimeFest? Maybe we could meet & chat for awhile during the convention.
