This morning at B&N some old woman with her invalid husband came up to me and asked how long I'd be in the comfy chair for. I said about 15 minutes, but I could just move to a wooden chair if they wanted it. The lady insisted on making me stay but told me to come get her when I finished and then she'd take my chair. I knew better than to insist on her taking the chair at that moment because nothing sucks more for old people than when young people act like they know what's best for old people... it's rude. She said come get her when I was done, so I did. But the whole time I was in the chair I felt so guilty for taking it that I couldn't concentrate. After about 5 minutes I gave up and went and got her.
I can't wait for this week to be over. Everyone keeps saying that, and I've said it and meant it too, but waking up this morning with a sinus infection pretty much takes the cake. Last year I got a sinus infection that took three rounds of prescription meds (two at a time usually) and five months to go away. Also, I usually develop a cough with it. If I get a cough, it won't go away for several months. Therefore, I will do whatever I can to kick this thing before it really begins. Time to retire to the couch and study my fool head off.
