(no subject)
This weekend was amazing. Stellar. Brilliant. My favorite weekend in quite some time.
It all began on Wed. (which I to this day can't spell so I abbreviate) with mud wrestling. After 4 shots in a row to drown my inner feminist, I stepped into the pit with Courtney and mud wrestled in the basement of a frat house for rush week. It was so so so much fun, but it had several side effects:
1) Scrapes, cuts, bruises from the sand in the mud and the slamming
2) Muscle soreness from being out of shape
3) Catching a cold from all the bacteria in dirt
4) Manicure/pedicure ruined, finding dirt up nose in ears etc for days
5) Odd rash breaking out from parasites in dirt
Still worth it. And the getting sick from the dirt didn't even occur to me beforehand.
Then, on Thursday we road tripped to Montreal. It was for Courtney's birthday, it was us and two other girls. I feel closer to Courtney than ever, which is great because we get along so well as it is. We shopped (I bought nothing- go me!) and went to bars (sadly I did buy some but guys bought others) and took a mini road trip to see this band while we were out there. They were really good and the lead singer is completely hot and funny and we very much hit it off. We talked about books and he gave me some peach schnapps and we walked around and kissed a bit and he sang to me a little on stage later that night. I could totally fall for him, but of course he's in Ottawa or Ottowa or however you spell it. I was head-over-heels swept off my feet. We're keeping in touch. Though it's sad that I won't see him for a while, it's fun to have had this one great night to remember.
