WTF?!?!?!?!?!?
Ok so I got this thing in the mail today telling me that there are gonna be changes made to my phone insurance in November. It says the major change made will be that there will be a $50 deductible if I ever need to use the insurance that I pay $5 a month for every month. So ok yea Im thinking whatever thats cheaper than a new phone. Well Ive had this insurance for as long as Ive had my current phone I think...which has been a while and when I signed up for it the guy working said it would cover my phone if it was ever lost or stolen or damaged or whatever. That is why I signed up for the stupid thing. Then the thing in the mail today tells me all this stuff it doesnt cover..this is what it says "The plan does not cover failures caused by acts of God, fire, flood, explosion, war, strike, embargo, acts of the government, military authority, or the elements,loss, theft, abuse, misuse, improper installation, water damage, or customer negligence, pre-existing Operational Failures of the Covered Equipment before it became Covered Equipment, changes or enhancements in color, texture, finish, expansion, contraction, or any cosmetic damage including, scratches, marring, and cracked displays....WTF am I paying for exactly. I think they pretty much covered EVERY SINGLE THING in this little list of theirs that would actually cause me to need a new phone. Also I once needed a new SIM card for my phone so I call AT&T and they tell me that the SIM card isnt included in my insurance even though my insurance is for the phone and EQUIPMENT. So anyways I was thrilled to know that Ive paid more than $100 Im sure for this insurance since Ive had it so it would cover the cost of a new phone if mine ever became broke or damaged and I would have ended up needing to pay for one anyways. Yea I think I will cancel this when I get my new phone!!!
