Summer...Yeah
So I'm getting used to this whole summer thing. Still haven't finished unpacking and there are lots of piles in my room. I think the Brick Oven is going to hire me to be a host or waiter. I have an interview on Thursday evening but today on the phone the manager implied I had the job if I wanted it. She was so friendly and outgoing! I went to the Oasis, a cool restaurant on the lake with live music, to apply for a job but they sent me to interview at their gift shop...bummer. I shouldn't have listed Gift Shop as a position I was interested in. It pissed me off that they didn't even let me talk to anyone about getting on the waitstaff. But I can't complain because I think the Brick Oven is gonna work out. Plus it's not quite as far away and it's air-conditioned. I need to join a gym. I haven't worked out in forever and I'm starting to feel icky. In other news, my movie The Curse is about to start filming. Very exciting. Lots of details to work out though. I keep obsessively checking the USC website to see if grades are posted yet. I need to stop. Why do I want to know my grades so badly? I know what all of them will be except for International Cinema and Weight Lifting. If I don't get an A in Weight Lifting...I don't know, I guess I'll just laugh. I was gonna write shoot myself, but that would be hyperbole. Well, I better go watch American Idol. Only one week left until its finale!
