The lack of a philosphy class today has cleared my schedule a bit, allowing me this 3 hour chunk in which I have returned home for lunch and...sitting. This is life in the driver's seat. I will relinquish my stick shift *giggles* and steering wheel in an hour when I have to return there for geology (the only rocks that I have interest in are the ones that Jenny has even though she from da block) and journalism (strange that I am going to be a journalism major because I dislike that class so hard...It is probably the time mixed with the length that irks me the most, but still...High school journalism was much better. Also, after fucking around in that class for the last 4 weeks, I have decided that I don't ever really want to write for a newspaper unless I get to review things. Hard news stories are not something I want to spend a part of my life doing).

The weekend was good. And by good I mean expensive. We (Michelle, Lydia, and I) went to Seattle on Saturday as a sort of post birthday trip for Lydia. I basically cleared out Tower and my wallet with one swipe of my debit card. This list will illustrate my point with a vivid flourish:

Richard Hell and the Voidoids- Blank Generation
The Stooges- The Stooges
The Stooges- Fun House
Kate Bush- The Dreaming (I actually found this at Borders...Tower let me down by not stocking it)
Television- Marquee Moon
The Damned- Damned Damned Damned
Elvis Costello- This Year's Model (w/bonus disc)
The Futureheads- The Futureheads
PJ Harvey pin

Look at me, I'm a punk! Also in the William Burrough's definition of the word:

"I always thought a punk was someone who took it up the ass."

Frame it. Love it.

Anyways, now that I've bored my readers with my shopping list I feel I should begin to wrap this up. Some bullets for condensed thoughts:

--Computer is still MIA. I miss him but I think it has been nice not to be on it as much as I was...I have so much more time to do the things I've always wanted to do in life. Like blow through an entire season of SVU on DVD.
--When I am on trial for the murder of my roommate, Cassie, know that it was not premeditated...just that I couldn't take her sniveling annoyances any longer and I broke, mentally and physically, and pushed her off our oversized balcony and then threw her oversized boyfriend down to land on top of her. Not guilty by reason of insanity (caused by "victim" herself).
--School seems to be going by rather fast (this week is the halfway mark), but at the same time it seems to be going slow while I am actually "in" it. I think that my broken up week (no classes Tuesday/Thursday except lab on Tuesdays) has really given time the energy it needs to plow through the week swiftly.

I'm out of things to say, not surprising because I am looking over the length of this entry and it seems that I've said pretty much everything that a person could ever say about anything. It must be part of my charm, this long windedness. Funnily enough, though, I fear I am rather too succinct in my everyday life when dealing with people who I hope stay interested in what I have to say. If it ain't one, it's the other.
