HP7

I know I have not updated in forever and I apologize. The truth is I'm probably going to be rid of this journal soon and will be getting a new one come 2011. That means everything will be moving to a new journal. Don't know what the name will be yet but that will be determined in December. You can follow me if you wish.

In the meantime, if you want news on me, follow me on Twitter: endlessfights or kutchunummy. The latter is opened while the other is not.

But...the reason I updated...I finally saw HP7. And as always, I must review.

Okay, I have to say that this is probably one of the best HP movies so far (I'm hoping the second half tops it to be honest). I was quite pleased by how the majority of it went and was only disappointed by very little. And still, that little bit isn't too much to take anything away from it.

Best parts:

-I really like the animation of the Tale of the Three Brothers. Very nicely done.
-The scene with the 7 Potters. I like tons!
-The acting has gotten a lot better from the trio. Rupert was always the strongest but Dan has been getting better with each movie and Emma did good too. I was very pleased with them. Actually, I was pleased with the acting as a whole from everyone.
-This seemed to follow the book the closest compared to the other movies. They kept the beginning with the death of Charity Burbage, they kept George losing an ear, they kept the wedding, and a whole lot of other stuff. I'm also pleased we got to see Neville. Sure, it's one second but it's Neville being awesome. The beginning of awesome Neville? (Although Neville always was awesome).
-The trio scenes and R/Hr. Thank you for the R/Hr stuff, Kloves.
-The soundtrack in general. *sigh*
-Dobby's death was just painful. And of course, Bellatrix is still the crazy bitch I hoped she'd be.
-The locket. The H/Hr stuff from that. Hell, that entire scene.
-When Harry and Hermione had their little dance. It was actually kinda cute despite me not shipping them.

Parts that I didn't care for/could be better:

-I was really hoping the torture scene would be better. Emma was doing great with the screaming but I was kinda hoping Rupert would be screaming as well.
-Now that I've seen Clemence as Eva in GG, I can't shake it out of my head. This was the one that 'saved' Chuck Bass (and has probably screwed him over with her 'healing hands'). Because of that, I have a hard time caring for her. And Fleur's one of my favorite characters. They already took away her shining moment in HBP so I can't warm up to the one in the movies. Also, I kinda expected Bill to look...well, cooler. They describe him as cool in the books. Yeah, I knew, Greyback got to him but I kinda expected more.
-I never really cared about Harry/Ginny or their scenes. Sorry. I always thought Harry was asexual (despite the chest monster).

What I want from the next movie:

-Fred's death to be painful and shocking. It was the only death that surprised me in the books. The others, I pretty much expected.
-Snape's memory to be freaking fantastic.
-The Forest part to be freaking fantastic.
-McGonagall being fierce and Trewlawny being badass.
-Lots and lots of badass Neville.
-Awesomness all around actually.

All in all, I say you should go see it if you haven't yet.
