(no subject)
I'm currently a few days into a sinus infection. My brother and I went to see God Dethroned last night and I lost my voice on the way there. It was a decent show anyway, certainly a band I've wanted to see for a while now. It's interesting being at a loud concert and only being able to communicate via gestures and a cell phone screen. I'm sure I didn't help it any with the few times I did try to speak somewhat loudly.
I am completely unable to speak today. A whisper, yes, but I'm trying to stay as silent as possible so I don't fuck up my voice any further. I don't necessarily speak much in the first place, but it's one of those things you don't really notice until you can't. I'm trying to figure out what to do with myself tonight and will probably need to call off work for at least a day.
Also, I'm moving into an apartment with my brother in about a week. The lack of planning is kind of amusing. Between the two of us we almost have enough essentials and stuff to fill an apartment already. Neither one of us really has to move everything before the end of the year, so it's kind of easygoing. 2009 has been kind of odd like that, I can see the next year or so being stranger.
