So, this 2014 thing...
I don't really know what to think.
Kind of worked out a few potential topics with my supervisor. We've kind of left philosophy of physics out of the picture: it's a convenient side-interest for me now, but it doesn't look like I'm going to get the chance to do a big topic out of it. My timetable doesn't look so good, but it could be worse. Here's hoping I get the classes I wanted.
I'm supposed to be excited about this next semester. Funny I can't really muster the energy. Just not feeling anything much at all.
As for 2013: it felt like I'd been taking the slow path through university, but I was starting to come into my own. Classes making sense, I'm starting to be able to actively engage with the readings better than I did. And yes, I do think I'm thankful for the awesome friends and mentors I've had. And it was a great year for Doctor Who, speaking of the anniversary.
